Policy Matters for Menifee Businesses
The 2026 Policy Outlook brought together Menifee Valley Chamber members and community leaders for a focused morning of learning, dialogue, and connecting local business owners directly with the people shaping policy at the state and federal level.
As one of California's fastest-growing cities, Menifee's business community faces a rapidly evolving regulatory and legislative environment. This event gave members a clear-eyed view of what's happening in Sacramento and Washington D.C. More importantly it gave them a clear view of how the Chamber is fighting for outcomes that protect and grow local enterprise.
Three featured speakers walked attendees through the Chamber's current advocacy priorities, active state and federal legislation, and the work being done through the Southwest California Legislative Council and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce on behalf of Menifee businesses.
The event closed with an open Q&A session, giving members the opportunity to raise their own concerns and engage directly with the speakers.

Three Levels of advocacy
The 2026 Policy Outlook brought together voices from the local, state, and federal levels ensuring Menifee businesses received a complete picture of the policy environment.
LOCAL
MVCC ADVOCACY
The Menifee Valley Chamber's dedicated legislative committee, focused on monitoring, analyzing, and responding to policy developments at the local, state, and federal levels. STATE
SOUTHWEST LEGISLATIVE CALIFORNIA COUNCIL (SWCLC)
A regional coalition of chambers of commerce and business organizations that collaborates to analyze state-level legislation, take collective positions on key issues, and amplify the voice of businesses across Southwest California in Sacramento. The MVCC actively participates in the SWCLC to ensure Menifee's unique priorities are heard at the state level.
FEDERAL
U.S. CHAMBER OF COMMERCE
The world's largest business federation, representing the interests of more than 3 million businesses of all sizes across every industry sector.
